For over 23 years, Purandara International Trust has been a quiet force behind India's rich cultural pulse. Officially registered in 2011, the Trust was founded by Mohan Kumar and Dr. Suvarna Mohan with a singular mission - to preserve, promote, and pass on the timeless legacy of Dasa Sahithya and classical arts.
With over 200 events curated to date, the Trust has become a beacon for emerging talent, a platform for unsung heroes, and a sanctuary for art in its purest form. From empowering middle-aged women to embrace their cultural identity, to uplifting the downtrodden and nurturing young artists, the Trust doesn’t just support art — it sustains it. Karunada Gurukula, a proud tributary of this vision, stands as a dedicated space for music and performing arts where passion meets discipline, and tradition becomes tomorrow.
